PRESIDENT'S FORUM
Fellow Chapter 1236 Members:
Having just completed our March 8th Meeting, I would like to start this forum by giving a big round of thanks to fellow member
Herb Clark for hosting our March meeting.  Herb has a beautiful hangar setup and maintenance facility, as well as some fantastic aircraft to admire.  I know that everyone enjoyed the chance to see all of it first hand.
36 members signed in.   I know we had more than that at the meeting.  A great turnout, the more members we have show up, the better the meetings.  Congratulations to
Clint Rule, our lone fly-in, all the way from Love's Landing.  It was our pleasure to have as our guests Ron Murray and Ken Addison and new member, Bill Stengl.
Our theme for the meeting was restoration projects. Thanks to
Herb Clark, Al Nase, Ray Brown , and Dick McLean for their project briefs.
      Thanks also to
Judie Betz, for her brief to our membership on the Young Eagles Program.
Our next meeting, as you know will be at

Ollie and Lorene's hangar at Loves Landing.
The meeting will be on April 12th at 10:00 am.

As most of you know we have invited the
Hangar Flyers Organization from the Villages to be our guests. This will be a covered dish event, and our main goal is to have a great social event with our invited guests.  I encourage you to mark this one on your calendar as a “do not miss event”.  I encourage maximum fly-in aircraft, and participation.  The Hangar Flyers could arrive with as many as 200 people.  We need all of our membership there also.  Bring your flying stories, and mingle.  See all of you there.  There will also be a display of historic aircraft recovery.
      Fly Safely,

Chuck Mosely

EAA 1236 MEMBER, MIGUEL CUBANO, IN KUWAIT
Judie Betz has heard from Miguel’s brother, Carlos,  that Miguel has been in Kuwait for about a month.  Apparently he is fine but has been living in very primitive quarters.  As many of you know he is a Naval Commander and a Physician usually working as a  Flight Surgeon.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Miguel!
