| President’s Forum FELLOW EAA CHAPTER 1236 MEMBERS, I MUST APOLOGIZE TO ALL OF YOU FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO BE IN TOWN IN ORDER TO ATTEND OUR CHAPTER’S NOVEMBER 15 TH MEETING AND JOINT LUNCHEON / FLY-IN WITH THE OCALA CHAPTER. I RECEIVED A LOT OF GOOD REPORTS ABOUT THE FLY-IN EVENT ACTIVITIES AND LUNCHEON. SOUNDS AS THOUGH EVERYONE HAD A GOOD TIME. AS WE DID NOT HAVE A QUORUM FOR OUR CHAPTER ELECTIONS, WE HAD TO DEFER THEM UNTIL OUR DECEMBER 12 TH. WE NEED EVERY ONE THERE FOR THIS MEETING, SO PUT THIS ON YOUR CALENDARS AS A MUST ATTEND EVENT. Friday, December 12th, 6 p.m. Meeting followed by Our Annual Christmas Party. EAA 1236 Christmas Party Friday, Dec. 12th @ 6:00 p.m. Ollie and Lorene Washburn’s hangar A short meeting and elections will take place at 6 with the party immediately after. Main course and sodas will be supplied – please bring a side dish. Also each person should bring a unisex gift of $10 or less to exchange. Parents of children attending should also bring a child’s gift to exchange. Donations to the raffle table would be appreciated. | EAA 1236 is invited! The 5th Annual Hobby Hill Christmas Fly In will be held on 12/06/03. Coffee at 9 a.m. Lunch at Noon by Sonny’s. This is a FABA Fly In with other invited Guests and neighbors of the airport. Desserts are the only thing to bring and only if you want to. There will be a demonstration run of a Ranger V-12 and an OX-5 aircraft engine during the day. Please fly the standard pattern for the day, Left traffic only . Look for traffic, the pattern is almost never empty, just stretched out. Listen for the ground station, freq 122.9, while on final, and rollout for parking instructions. | Final Flight Shown here is the last flight of the Air France Concorde Supersonic Jet Airliner which took place October 24, 2003.
